We know we have been typically lacking in the updates, however there is plenty of news to tell you about. First off, Congratulations to Daniel and Shannon on the birth of perfect little boy by the name of Elliot Reed Driskell. We’re glad to have him in the 1888 family and look forward to presenting new songs to him seeking his approval.
Its all about the 1888LOVE.

48 HOUR FILM FESTIVAL WINNERS!! Virginia Beach, Va Chapter
CRF FILMS, aka Eugene Gozales and Sean Devereaux produced this years winning film for the Va Beach, Va sector of the 48-HOUR FILM FESTIVAL, titled “THE TROUBADOUR”. This is an annual event which is growing in size and has become a national phenomenon. We were lucky enough to take part and submitted our album at length to the cause. And as always the wonderful CLAY GARDEN STUDIO was critical in finishing off the soundtrack with some foley work and some sinister string bits. Lets just say that Cantaloupes and beer bottle breaking was involved. A special thanks to Alex Partow for help putting the bits together.
The film will now go to national competition and hopefully will win so that we can get a piece of that $7500 grand prize!! Wish us luck. Were working to line up a good string of shows very soon so please check back every now and then to see whats up with our silly asses.
Stay cool…drink lots of water.
bye bye for now pumpkin plow.
